About me

I received my Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and my minor in Psychology from East Stroudsburg University in PA.   Currently,  I am pursuing a Doctor of Education in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Autism studies.

My specialty is in PROMPT therapy.  I’m a PROMPT Certified Instructor who teaches workshops in the NY and NJ areas. I also have completed training in various therapeutic techniques such as DIR Floortime, NDT, and Verbal Behavior/ABA.  I also have extensive training with feeding therapy, AAC, Proloqou2go/iPad for communication, and Applied Behavior Analysis.

I use an eclectic approach to treatment as I utilize multiple techniques to meet the child's needs. Each child's treatment plan is unique and individualized. I specialize in working with children with autism and motor speech disorders. I am a recipient of the ASHA ACE award for continuing education for 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013.

I hold national certification from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, licensure from the State of New Jersey and New York, and certification from the NJ Department of Education.
